What was it, about 102 degrees with 90% humidity? What we needed to cure our wimpy complaining about the weather was to be showered in flames by the awesome, smashing heavy metal band Disturbed. The crowd went ballistic, sweat pouring from every crevice stomping to the chilling tempo of this overwhelming outfit of aggressive musicians.

The melodic metalcore band Wage War tore up the stage wringing out any hope of sanity. Cody Quistad’s intricate melodies mixed with the powerful, exuberance of vocalist Briton Bond filled us all with energy lifting us out of the lethargy of the hot, humid North Carolina summer night.
