Seether
Seether closed the night at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh on October 18, 2025, delivering a performance that underscored their precision, force, and command of the stage. Formed in Pretoria, South Africa, the band—fronted by Shaun Morgan—has built a catalog that defines two decades of modern hard rock. With platinum records like Disclaimer II (2004), Karma and Effect (2005), and Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces (2007), and chart-topping singles including “Remedy,” “Fake It,” and “Words as Weapons,” Seether has become one of the genre’s most reliable heavyweights. Their latest release, The Surface Seems So Far (2024, Fantasy Records), continues that lineage with a darker, more atmospheric edge that expands on their post-grunge roots.

Morgan’s vocals carried the night—deep, controlled, and unflinching—shifting from a low burn to melodic intensity without losing focus. Corey Lowery’s guitar tone added weight and definition, meshing perfectly with Dale Stewart’srhythmic bass undercurrent, while John Humphrey anchored everything with deliberate precision behind the kit. The audience met every transition with energy: “Broken” filled the amphitheater with thousands of voices, while “Fake It” and “Remedy” reignited that early-2000s spark without nostalgia clouding the delivery.

The stage design matched the band’s no-frills aesthetic—columns of smoke, sharp red-and-white light bursts, with clean synchronization between sound and visuals. At once unrelenting and very powerful. At the merch stand, fans grabbed Surface clear-vinyl reissues, new hoodies, and shirts emblazoned with the band’s updated logo. Seether has earned accolades including multiple Billboard Music Awards and continues to dominate rock radio while selling out venues worldwide. More about the band can be found at www.seether.com.

Daughtry
Co-headliner Daughtry brought arena-sized energy to the amphitheater, led by Chris Daughtry’s unmistakable voice. Since their 2006 multi-platinum debut, the band has earned Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and Grammy nominations while maintaining mainstream rock relevance. Their latest EP, Shock to the System (Part One)(2024, Dogtree/Big Machine Rock), adds modern grit to their anthemic sound. In Raleigh, Chris Daughtry’s performance was note-perfect, moving from acoustic intimacy on “Home” to full vocal power on “It’s Not Over.” The stage was bathed in purple and white light, with smoke accents marking emotional peaks. Fans filled the aisles, singing nearly every word. Official merchandise featured career-spanning poster bundles and EP-themed shirts. Visit www.daughtryofficial.com for news and releases.

P.O.D.
Special guests P.O.D. ignited the night with high-intensity rap-metal and reggae grooves that have defined their 30-year career. Known for classics like “Alive” and “Youth of the Nation,” the San Diego band continues to thrive on tour behind their latest album Veritas (2024). Frontman Sonny Sandoval was constantly in motion, rallying the audience through every chorus. Pyrotechnic bursts and heavy smoke enhanced the set’s climaxes, and the crowd responded with nonstop movement. Their merch booth offered Veritas vinyl, 30th-anniversary shirts, and bracelets featuring their cross logo. For full discography and updates, visit www.payableondeath.com.

Kami Kehoe
Opening the evening, Kami Kehoe proved why she’s a breakout artist to watch. The 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist balanced polished vocals with live drumming and guitar work, performing songs from her recent Kandy EP. Her minimal-smoke, ambient-lit set built from smooth pop hooks to powerful crescendos, engaging early arrivals in Raleigh. Crew sources said she was granted extra pre-show sound-check time—a sign of respect from the co-headliners’ production team. Fans lined up at her table for signed photos and digital EP codes.
