The Beaches (https://thebeachesband.com) have built an illustrious career since forming in Toronto in 2009, with current lineup Jordan Miller (lead vocals, bass), Kylie Miller (guitar, backing vocals), Leandra Earl (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), and Eliza Enman-McDaniel (drums). They released two EPs early (The Beaches, Heights), followed by their debut studio album Late Show (2017), then EPs The Professional (2019), Future Lovers (2021), and the compilation Sisters Not Twins (The Professional Lovers Album) (2022). Their second full album Blame My Ex came out in 2023 via AWAL; it won the Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year, and the group also won or was nominated for Group of the Year (Junos) in 2024 and 2025. Their third studio album No Hard Feelings was released August 29, 2025, also via AWAL. The record is produced by a team including 300it, Riley Bell, Zale Epstein, Georgia Flipo, Aidan Hogg, Chris LaRocca, Lowell, Gus van Go, and Sam Willows. The album follows several singles (“Takes One to Know One,” “Jocelyn,” “Last Girls at the Party,” “Did I Say Too Much,” “Touch Myself,” and “Lesbian of the Year”) that set the tone for this tour. The No Hard Feelings Tour is a North American headlining run between August and November 2025, beginning in Chicago on August 29 and concluding in Moncton on November 15. Key cities include Raleigh, Boston, Washington DC, New York. At The Ritz in Raleigh on 9/21, The Beaches delivered a strong set mixing new material and fan favorites. The crowd was fully engaged, singing along to both new songs and older hits; the energy was high throughout. Stage visuals emphasized contrast and clarity: lighting shifts to highlight vocal moments from Jordan Miller, surges of color and backlighting during guitar-heavy songs, and a tight interplay between instruments. Merchandise was plentiful: No Hard Feelings themed T-shirts, vinyl of the new album, posters, enamel pins, tour hoodies. The mix of bold artwork from the album cover and lyric-driven prints made merch a draw both before and after the show.

Debbii Dawson (https://debbiidawson.com) opened the Raleigh show with performances that underscored her rapid rise. She is signed to RCA Records, with co-publishing via Warner Chappell Music and Katy Perry’s Unsub Publishing. Her discography includes the EP Learning (2023), followed by How to Be Human (2024), plus a set of recent singles (like “Happy World,” “Gut Feelings,” “You Killed The Music,” “Chemical Reaction”). Debbii grew up in the rural Midwest as a first-generation American, with family roots in India that have influenced her musical heritage. On this tour, she delivered a stage presence marked by vulnerability and polish: quieter moments with minimal accompaniment allowed her voice to shine; then, when full band joined, songs built in dynamics, giving contrast to her set. The audience responded with warmth—audible applause after each song, attention throughout, even as sound stabilized after initial mix issues. Merchandise for Debbii included her EPs on CD, lyric printed hoodies, singles on cassette and digital codes, and a limited run of posters sold out quickly. She benefited from strong management (State of the Art) and booking via Wasserman Music. Her set supported the headliner well, setting tone without overshadowing, and her growth as a performer was evident.
