Surrealistic in a way, how things worked out. It was a great pleasure to capture Teddy Swims and Matt Hansen in this sold out show of “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour” at The Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina for INDRA Magazine.

I say surreal as what appeared to be a just “another shoot” was in fact, I discovered during editing, much more than simple coverage, but more of a vulcan mind meld between performance photographer and performance artist. This is what it’s all about. More than merely a descriptive visual of the show, but penetrating deeper inside the mechanisms of a performance. Needless to say I enjoyed covering the Teddy Swims set that night at The Ritz.
