Lindsey Stirling with Walk Off The Earth presented an awe inspiring performance at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC.

A big WOW! I photographed Lindsey a few years ago when she was at Coastal Credit Union Music Park, but we had to shoot about 50 yards away at the Soundboard. With a telescopic lens, (400mm), you can make it look like your “right there” but shooting from this distance produces an image that feels cold and..uh..distant. However this time around we were in the pit, right there in front of her, and I did notice she had less equipment sitting on stage, which previously had blocked our view pretty much from the knees down,  which was a crying shame.

But tonight we could see! What terrific, mind boggling choreography for her and her team! And the musicality! Lindsey Stirling’s terrific acuity on the violin is truly a miracle while she hops and VIGOROUSLY dances, not ever missing note!

Then there was Lindsey Stirling’s supporting act Walk Off The Earth. Holy Mackerel! See these pics?! They were off the wall. I’m a percussion nut so I was immediately absorbed into their performance. Absolutely exhilarating! A not miss for sure!
