Farm Aid, organized to bring awareness and help to family farmers, produced a magnificent day of music with an outstanding line up including Willie Nelson & Family, John Mellencamp, Dave Mathews & Tim Reynolds, Margo Price, Chris Stapleton, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Sheryl Crow, Allison Russell, Charley Crockett, Brittney Spencer, Particle Kid and the Wisdom Indian Dancers.

Selling out the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, North Carolina, Farm Aid was a huge success. The day being highlighted with a million dollar contribution by NFL Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay.

Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp organized the first Farm Aid concert in 1985 to raise awareness about the loss of family farms and to raise funds to keep farm families on the land. Dave Matthews joined the Farm Aid Board of Directors in 2001, and Margo Price joined in 2021.
