The PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC hosted the WWE Friday Night SmackDown to a sell out crowd. As an action photographer, one of the biggest  hurdles is just plain access to events, and I’ve been working hard for about 10 years to access Professional Wrestling.

It was boggling to see the WWE SmackDown live, in person. SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was there, as well as the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and the undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions the Usos. Monday Night RAW Woman’s Champion Bianca Belair with Asuka, Rhea Ripley, and Charlotte Flair complimented the action.

Thousands of dedicated fans were screaming their lungs out, caught up in the happenings laid out before them taking place at the center of the arena. Things go down very fast, and a new challenge emerged as a photographer to catch all that happens on stage. I look forward for the return of the event. I won’t miss anything next time!
