Barenaked Ladies presented the mysteriously titled “Last Summer on Earth Tour” with special guests Gin Blossoms and Toad the Wet Sprocket at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC July 16, 2022.

I just googled barenaked ladies, and unfortunately, all I got were pictures of some dudes in a band. Go figure. Actually I thought it was ironic as I had been working all morning on pictures of guys in a band called Barenaked Ladies. Wonders will never cease to amaze me.

However, the editing seemed to be a bit of a feudal gesture because the rules for this shoot were to locate the photographers way way back far away from the stage, no stools allowed, in the rain, to photograph the band, in back of the audience. With no stools allowed, you’re just stuck trying to shoot between heads. But I tried to go with it. To create something new. …with what I had. The music was great of course. All three bands are superb.
