This fine night’s raging heat and humidity could only be outdone by the power of the trio of bands Korn, Staind and guitar / drum duo ’68. 

The crowd was happy to be there and the Merchandise stand was happy the super-fans were there as well. I opted not to wear earplugs for this one as the bands directed us to photograph from the soundboard, about 40 yards back from the stage. The volume of sound was still knocking me back, so, well, being hard of hearing is just a sign of old age…ain’t it?
